Kinetic Frame

This research is an experiment about transformation movement using parametric design. By using Theo Jansen’s Mechanism, it is testing transforming objects physically without any deformations. It can be another possibility of rhino grasshopper as 3d simulation program.  The definition is just using series of ‘Circle’ and ‘Intersection’, and  ’Evaluate’ functions.

The diagram shows the logic of rotational movement and how to construct this geometry. Once you build the unit structure, you can add more as you want just with changing ‘Evaluate value’. The definition may be produced by using previous version of GH. But the logic and components are all same.
